We loved him as an uncle, brother-in-law, friend, and angel in our lives here on Earth. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Marion and Addie Harmon Malone, as well as his father and mother, Grover Sr. and Mandy Booker Malone and his four older brothers. Joann Feathers.

Greenwood Baptist Church was home to Jay.After years of attending Dawn of Hope, his health began to deteriorate and he was no longer able to participate.

Everything orange was Jay’s favourite colour as well as Chinese food and onions being his favourite food items. As a child, Jay was enamoured with the Dukes of Hazard and Emergency, as well as his collection of fire trucks and police cars.

When it came to gorgeous girls and new people, Jay didn’t know what to make of them. They were all wedded in his head. Wrestling was a favourite pastime of his as well. He’d get the hang of it.

Funeral rites will be performed at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home at 7:00 PM on February 23, 2022, by Pastor Keith Malone and Pastor Bill Murray. Before the ceremony on Wednesday, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., friends and family may visit with the family.

Services will be held at Maple Lawn Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. on February 24, 2022.Friends and family members will serve as pallbearers.

His grandparents, Paul and Lily Rosenburg, took him on train vacations to Missouri and camping expeditions. In 1961, the same year he married his beloved LaRene Barfuss, Bob enlisted in the United States Air Force.

Dad and Mom had been dating since they were 15 and 14 years old, respectively. This couple’s lives was filled with love, happiness, and excitement. Ronny, Debbie, and Cindy were three of the three children born to this couple.

There were many memorable trips, camping trips, and other family outings. He and his mother took great pride in making the holidays extra special for their children.

For more than two decades, Bob served as the facility’s administrator at Valley View Nursing Home, which his mother owned. After the nursing home closed, mom and dad took up a new job as apartment managers at the Village Apartments in Pocatello.

In their 17 years of employment there, they developed strong bonds with their student tenants. As a result, they relocated their family to Idaho Falls, where they worked for L&L until 2012. Afterwards, they returned home to Lava and rejoined their family.

In his younger years, Dad enjoyed fishing and attending ISU football games, as well as spending time in the garden, reading, painting, and putting puzzles together.

Dad was devoted to us and was really proud of us all. His wife LaRene, his three children, Ronny Debbie (Neil) Anderson, and Cindy (Ed) Joslin, are all by his side.

There are six grandchildren: Matthew Joslin, Ashley Joslin, Rowland DePaola, Rina Grover & Tou Xiong, and eight great-grandchildren: Ashton, MJ & Karter Joslin; Kathrine DePaola; Kayden Timmons; Ellie Xiong; Raiden Grover; and Reynold Grover.
