The phone’s most recent “pinged” location was shown. Located at 1490 Lindsey Boulevard, 43 miles south of the Verizon tower, Highway 20 and Interstate 15 are nearby, as is a portion of the Snake River.

A four-year-old cold case was solved in 20 minutes by a well-known YouTube group that specialises in solving missing people cases.
A team of Oregon-based YouTubers known as Adventures With Purpose, which specialises in discovering persons who have gone missing, has recruited Doug Bishop as the company’s main detective.
After five years of helping families and law enforcement across the country with cold cases, the underwater sonar search and recovery dive team has returned to the state of Idaho, according to the East Idaho News

In the Matthew “Jed” Hall case, Bishop and his crew landed in Idaho Falls on May 1st.Police in Idaho Falls have been hunting for Jed since his disappearance on January 22, 2018, when he left behind a 9mm weapon and camping/survival gear in his 2009 grey Nissan Versa hatchback.
Prior to the town, Jed is said to have left behind a suicide note.Bishop told the East Idaho News, “We came into this case like we come into other cases. “We determine whether or not someone is missing and whether or not they are missing with a vehicle.
” We have a unique capacity to use sonar that law enforcement does not have. What is the last known location of our phone? Frequently visited locations, etc. As a result of this, we determine which waterways we need to search, and we select those waterways.”
As luck would have it, the area around the Snake River had a mobile ping from four years prior. On May 1, Adventures With Purpose began their search south of the Johns Hole boat ramp at 9 am.
In less than 20 minutes, the team found Jed’s vehicle, which was submerged eight feet under water, 75 yards from the boat ramp. At the time of the vehicle’s identification, Amy and Allen Hall, Jed’s parents, were there.
While Jed Hall’s father was hoping for a huge breakthrough in the investigation into his son’s disappearance on Sunday, he was disappointed.
The car Hall was last seen driving was discovered in the Snake River by the Oregon-based diving company Adventures With Purpose, which specialises in digging for evidence in cold cases. Criminal investigators are trying to identify the body parts found inside the vehicle.
At before 6 a.m. on January 22nd, 2018, Jed Hall left his home. Because of this, his family doubted that he committed suicide. Allen Hall, a retired Idaho Falls police officer, observed that people who commit themselves are usually discovered very fast.
To determine if the remains recovered in the automobile belong to Jed or not, they will need to be investigated. Using Jed’s dental records, Allen claims that the police can match the body.
In any case, Allen expects the bones to belong to his kid, according to him.For his part, Allen added, “I don’t think (Jed) yanked anyone else out of the car and threw them in.”
The disappearance of Jed Hall has been a mystery for the Idaho Falls Police Department for some time now. Because of a notebook found outside the house listing survival supplies and intentions to disguise himself, his family assumed he was fleeing.

On the morning of May 1, 2022, IFPD investigators met the Adventures with Purpose team, Amy and Allan Hall, at the 1400 block of River Parkway near the Snake River Boat Launch.
