She used to work at Uniontown Provisions in Lorain as a cook and baker. Earlier this year, she was named the city’s best cake and presentation baker and presenteder.

Beautiful, compassionate, and loving Satira was a joy to be around. In her life, nothing provided her greater delight than spending time with Lillian Rae, her daughter. Satira’s family and friends were all very fond of her.

When she laughed, you couldn’t help but smile back. Aside from elephants, she was a huge animal lover. Satira had a natural affinity for gardening, and she took great satisfaction in tending to her plants.

Her voice was beautiful and she was a big fan of karaoke. As someone who cared deeply about others while still having a good time and being free-spirited, she will be missed.

Teachers at Southview Middle School in Lorain, Ohio, have been accused of encouraging two students to engage in a fight during the school day on May 9, 2022.

In order to track down the students and personnel suspected of being involved, district officials have studied footage from student cell phone cameras and school surveillance cameras.

Two pupils were filmed fighting and being mocked by members of the school’s staff, who appear to have encouraged them to do so.

Lorain City Campuses Superintendent Dr. Jeff Graham said in a statement: “Lorain City Schools is entrusted to providing safe, caring environments for our students, employees, and everyone who access our schools.”

Due process is ongoing, but I am deeply disturbed by what I’ve seen on these recordings, and I want to make it clear that anyone who violates our promise of protecting the children of Lorain is not welcome here.”

School officials in the district claim they have a “zero tolerance policy for violence within their classrooms” and “any discipline that occurs as a result of this incident will be consistent with board policy and historical practise.”
